Volunteer abroad in environmental conservation in Tanzania

Volunteers here are welcome for a minimum of 4 weeks.
This project is based in the small town of Moshi, about an hour's drive from Arusha. It is a tree seedling project, where in addition to planting and growing trees, the goal is to raise environmental awareness through education.
Volunteers work in the nursery, looking after the seedlings and preparing them for planting. There is also the opportunity to educate the local population on environmental issues and give training to help them conserve their surroundings for future generations. Any knowledge of the environment and conservation will be an advantage, as awareness in the area is low.
Volunteers are accommodated in their own separate rooms, and share facilities with each other and their host Tanzanian family.
